My Dogs Love This Product
We have 2 persnickety little pups. One's a poodle and the other is Jack-mix (boy and girl) and I guess they're spoiled because there's not much that they haven't rejected at some point or another: including people-chicken, people-burger, and people-ham.I don't think they've ever turned down bacon and they've never turned down the Heartgard meds. In fact, I have to be very careful to dose them separately so they both get their appropriate medication.This medicine, by the way, is soft and chewy. When Pippin and Charlie were very small, I actually broke the little bars in half. Now that they are 5 months older they can handle an entire chew.My only other advice would be to shop around. You can find reputable sources for much, much less. And to my surprise, you don't need a prescription. Take care of your fur-kids.Have them tested for heartworms by a vet and then make sure you dose them every month so you can have a long and healthy...

Heartgard is a monthly oral pet med used in dogs and puppies as a heartworm preventive. Heartgard is used in the prevention of heartworm infections. It kills the immature form of the heartworm (Dirofilaria immitis).
